Steve is also a cancer survivor and has now pioneered a yearly event to help do his part for the cure of cancer. The "Casting for A Cure" Kid's Fishing Rodeo provides a great time for kids and parents alike, while raising valuable money for the research of Cancer.

Last year's first ever event raised over $2500.00 for Cancer Research and provided a one of a kind experience for kids and adults.

Thousands of dollars worth of prizes were offered to the young anglers and every kid received a prize whether they caught a fish or not.

The Second Annual Steve McCadams “Casting For A Cure” Kids Fishing Rodeo returns to Carroll Lake on Saturday, June 16th. Located five miles east of McKenzie, TN., on U.S. Hwy 22, the lake will play host to kids ages 15 and under for a fun filled morning.

Bring your child or just bring a neighbors child, but come on out and be a part of this entertaining event.
