Entering his 28th year as a professional waterfowl and fishing guide, Steve has been featured in SPORTS AFIELD, OUTDOOR LIFE, FIELD & STREAM, WILDFOWL, DUCKS UNLIMITED and a host of other state and regional publications.

Steve is also a host of the national outdoor television series: "IN-PURSUIT". Watch Steve as he hunts ducks and geese from Canada to the Mississippi delta, along with other fishing and hunting featured on the show.

Steve is a Ducks Unlimited Sponsor, Honorary Trustee, and has served as a Chapter Chairman and committee member for over 20 years. He is a member of Waterfowl USA, Jack Miner Society, South Carolina Waterfowl Association, and Delta Waterfowl. As a member of the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce, he has served on its Board of Directors.

He is a member of The Outdoor Writers of America and is past president of both the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association and The Tennessee Outdoor Writers Association. His articles have appeared in numerous magazines and books and he is outdoor editor of the PARIS-POST INTELLIGENCER newspaper. 

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and shares a home with his wife Linda and their two Labrador retrievers "Ace" and "Mollie". Between seasons he guides clients for bass and crappie fishing on Tennessee's Kentucky Lake. Steve is a National Crappie Champion having won the coveted title over the nation's top tournament anglers in 1996, with pal Jim Perry. 

Labeled as America's most popular crappie angler, Steve McCadams is an outdoor writer and a host of the national television series "IN-PURSUIT", a hunting, fishing, and conservation oriented program on the great outdoors.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and is an active member of The Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA), The Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA), and The Tennessee Outdoor Writers Association (TOWA), having served as President in both SEOPA and TOWA.

His articles and photos have appeared in numerous newspapers, magazines and books. He is outdoor editor of the PARIS POST-INTELLIGENCER newspaper. His columns appear regularly in: MID-SOUTH HUNTING & FISHING NEWS, TENNESSEE VALLEY OUTDOORS, CRAPPIE WORLD and SPORTSMAN'S DIGEST.

Publication credits range from IN-FISHERMAN, NORTH AMERICAN FISHERMAN, OUTDOOR LIFE, SPORTS AFIELD, FIELD & STREAM, CRAPPIE WORLD to the THE SATURDAY EVENING POST, along with a host of state and regional publications.

Entering his 28th year as a professional guide on Tennessee's Kentucky Lake, he has appeared on numerous national syndicated television shows such as BILL DANCE OUTDOORS, FISHING WITH ROLAND MARTIN, BILLY WESTMORLAND'S FISHING DIARY, FISHING WITH ORLANDO WILSON, THE IN-FISHERMAN NETWORK, THE NORTH AMERICAN HUNTING & FISHING SHOW and THE NASHVILLE NETWORK (TNN).

His seminars on finding and catching crappie on a year round basis have received accolades at national boat, sport, and travel shows across the nation.
