Here's an email we received that just helped remind us how lucky we are to live in such a great area. It is often taken for granted when you see it every day, but Kentucky Lake holds a special place in the heart of many people all across the country. Next time you're out there, just stop for a minute and soak in the surroundings. The fishing is great, but there is so much more to a day on the lake. The time spent in God's country, the time spent with friends and family, the peace of mind: Enjoy it to the utmost. It is truly a wonderful place.

HELLO THERE,, WELL IT IS TIME FOR ME TO COME BACK TO THE HOME OF MANY GREAT MEMORIES, IT HAS BEEN MANY YEARS SINCE I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE TRIP,, I AM DISABLED SOMEWHAT BUT I CAN GET AROUND BETTER AS OF LATE, BEING A DIE HARD FISHERMAN ALL MY LIFE, I PLAN TO SEIZE THE CHANCE TO GO AT LEAST ONE MORE TIME TO CHASE THE BIG CRAPPIE, THE LOVE OF MY GREATEST PASSIONS. PARIS TENN. AND THE OLD RIO MOTEL BRINGS BACK SPECIAL MEMORIES, I AM REALLY EXCITED TO SEE THE CHANGES SINCE 1962, MY LAST TRIP DOWN THERE, WE RENTED A SMALL BLOCK CABIN AND A BOAT ON THE WATER, A FRIEND AT MIDWAY CHEVROLET IN CHICAGO A PARTS MANAGER OWNED TWO CABINS HE HAD BUILT FOR RETIREMENT THERE, HIS FRIEND AT THE MOTEL TOOK CARE OF THEM FOR HIM, IT WAS NICE, NOT ELABORATE, BUT CLEAN AND PERFECT FOR WHAT WE NEEDED, OUR FAMILIES STILL REMEMBER THE TRIP AND THE GREAT STATE OF TENN. I FEEL LIKE I HAVE PAID A DEBT LONG OWED FOR THE EXPERIENCES WE HAD THERE BY REMEMBERING WITH SPECIAL THOUGHTS, I HOPE THAT THERE ARE MANY OTHERS AS LUCKY FOR THE TIME SPENT,,AS BOB HOPE SAID SO MANY TIMES [[ THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES ]] K HOEBBEL
