Have you been looking for a place to fish without the need for a boat?

Well, look no further than the new brochure available from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) entitled Take it to the Bank-Tennessee Bank Fishing Opportunities.

The brochure was produced in an effort to provide the angling information on where to go fishing without the need for a boat. Information is provided on numerous bank fishing locations across the state where a person or family can fish from the water's edge.

Locations are listed alphabetically by county for each TWRA region, and include TWRA family fishing lakes, state park lakes, catch-out operations, and fishing areas that are wheelchair accessible. There is also general information about bank fishing, fish species and contact information for other agencies offering bank fishing opportunities.

The brochure is available from local TWRA offices, or you may view and print a copy from the agency web site at www.tnwildlife.org. Click on "Fishing in Tennessee."
