For the first time,
Tennessee hunters will be able to purchase colored maps of some of the
most popular wildlife management areas in the state, according to David
Duval, executive director of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation.
The maps have been produced by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources
Agency. The people in TWRA's Geographic Information Systems Division have
done an outstanding job creating color maps that I expect will be very
popular once our hunters learn about them," said Duval. "The Foundation is
going to be handling the sale of the maps for TWRA.
For now, order forms can be obtained by calling the Foundation at
(615) 831-3480. Checks or money orders must be sent to Tennessee Wildlife
Resources Foundation (or TWRF) at PO Box 110031, Nashville, TN 37222.
The costs of maps vary, but most are either $4.00 or $6.00.
Available maps (more are being created) include: AEDC,
Bridgestone/Firestone, Catoosa, Cheatham, Chuck Swan, Duck River, Kyker
Bottoms, Natchez Trace, Royal Blue, and Williamsport.
