TURKEY CALLING CHAMPIONSHIP

    Billy Yargus of Ewing, Mo. won First place in the 2008 Wild Turkey Bourbon/National Wild Turkey Federation Grand National Calling Championships in Atlanta, Ga., Feb. 22 -24.
    In addition to a championship trophy, Yargus won a championship ring and $5,000.
    The contest was held during the NWTF's annual Convention and Sport Show at the Georgia World Congress Center. Callers from across the country earned their way to the championships by winning NWTF-sanctioned turkey calling contests throughout the year.
