TRITON HOSTS KENTUCKY LAKE TOURNAMENTS

Triton Boats will host two big tournaments in the Paris area of Kentucky Lake next week. First will be the Triton Gold Elite scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday out of Buchanan Resort.

This is an invitation only tournament for Triton Gold members who have qualified throughout 2007 for this event. They qualified by winning Gold sanctioned events all across the country.

Seventy anglers will be fishing in this event for a $100,000.00 purse. The winner will receive $40,000.00 with 70th place getting a check for t $500.00.

Wednesday’s weigh-in will be at 3 PM at the resort. On Thursday the field will be cut to 25 anglers who will fish until 4:00 PM and weigh-in at the Paris Landing Civic Center. Everyone is welcome to attend the weigh-in.
The second event will be the Triton Owners Tournament slated for Friday and Saturday out of Paris Landing State Park marina. This tournament is open to all registered Triton boat owners. The entry fee is $200.00 and 60 teams will receive checks.

Tournament officials indicate some 345 teams will participate representing 23 states with some anglers even coming from Spain!
