Henry County Gun Club will open its spring trap league beginning Thursday, March 6. Shooting times will be 3-7 PM. “The league will feature the “Big 50” which allows a shooter to shoot 50 singles, 50 handicap and 25 pair of doubles,” says range spokesman Kimball Kelsey. “These will all be American Trap Association registered targets so the kids and folks that need to keep up their totals of registered targets will be able to get them here locally with us at only $2.50 a round plus $2.00 to register them with the ATA and Tennessee State Trap Association.” “They won’t have to travel to registered shoots, spend the night and incur additional expenses of gas and food. They can shoot with us right here at home at Henry County Gun Club, continued Kelsey. “Voice Activated Canterbury system will be used. All trap shooters are welcome; they do not have to be in the ATA to shoot.” “The ATA registered trap shoot will be Saturday, March 8. So, we kick off the league shooting on March 6, followed by the ATA shoot on March 8.” For additional info on the upcoming spring league contact Terry Reardon 731-644-3283 or Royce Stewart 731-644-3194.
