Sportsman's Challenge The fourth of six qualifying tournaments was held July 20, on Kentucky Lake from Birdsong Marina with 57 teams competing. We had a cool morning for blast off with some competitors preparing for a long ride. By weighin time, the temperature was in the upper 90’s. Big Bass for the day was 6.32 caught by the team of Jimmy Thomas and Chris Davis; they received a check for $342.00. Second beg bass went to Kyle Parnell and Brian Lovelass with a 4.88, they received a check for $228.00. The following list the top 15 teams to receive a check from the Sportsman’s Challenge Team Tournament Series. A drawing was held and five teams receive $100.00 sponsored by Donnie Hatcher Autoplex. Three teams received tackle packs from The Original Fish Formula, and three teams received tackle packs from Sportsman’s Challenge in Atwood, TN. Recipients of the drawings can not draw a check in the top 15 nor can they receive a check from the big bass pot.
The next tournament is August 24 on Kentucky lake from Birdsong Marina. Blastoff will be at 6:00 and weighin will begin at 3:00.
