Tennessee sportsmen are reminded of an important date this weekend. All fishing and hunting licenses expire at midnight Friday so before you head to the lake Saturday morning remember to stop and renew your tags at the license agent of your choice. New licenses have been on sale for about ten days but it’s easy to get busy and overlook the annual renewal date. All licenses are available from local license agents, county court clerks, TWRA regional offices, and online at www.tnwildlife.org. If you purchase licenses online you’ll have to pay an additional handling fee. Incidentally, take your old license with you when purchasing the new ones at your TWRA identification number will expedite the agent’s ability to expedite the transaction and access you in the data base.
