Mike Foster of Paris didn’t need any help to win last Friday morning’s weekly bass tournament out of Paris Landing State Park. He fished alone and caught a hefty five fish limit weighing 21.90 pounds but his big fish really got some attention. He landed a trophy largemouth weighing 8.15 pounds to anchor his winning stringer and took the big fish prize as well. Falling to second place was the dynamic duo of Leon “too wet to plow” Rogers and Roger Buffington who weighed in a nice limit that tipped the scales at 19.55 pounds.
Needless to say, the bass were biting well!
