KENTUCKY LAKE BASS UPDATE
by Steve McCadams

March 22nd, 2008

Updates from last week’s first Friday morning bass tournament on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing show the return of the dynamic duo of Leon “too we to plow” Rogers and Roger Buffington in the top spot. They boated a stringer weighing 11.15 pounds. Big bass of the morning was a 5.20-pound largemouth taken by Clyde and Matt Van Meter.

Kentucky Lake’s first event in the Team Trails bass tournament series out of Birdsong last Saturday saw anglers battling thunderstorms. Still, some good fish were taken and taking the top spot was Parisian Derrick Greenhill and partner Bill Spencer of New Johnsonville who teamed up to take 21.35 pounds, earning them $645.

The next tournament on the trail will be out of Paris Landing State Park on Sunday, April 5th.
