From last Friday morning’s weekly bass tournament at Kentucky Lake comes word of the first place win by Matt Reagan and Eric Nichols of Paris with a five fish limit weighing 14.65 pounds. They also had big fish which was a 4.20 pound largemouth. Second place went to Benn and Patricia Tyson of New Concord, KY with 12.50.

Last Saturday’s Hulme Sporting Goods open buddy bass tournament had twenty one boats entered in the competition, which was won by Jackson anglers Charles and Chuck Jones with a limit weighing 24.17 pounds that earned them $1,000. Second place went to Phillip and Larry Harris of Union City with 22.02 followed by Kenny Louden and Billy Ward of Springville with 21.30 pounds. Fourth went to David Seaton and Ronnie Harris of Paris with 18.02 pounds followed by Cliff and Russell Curd of Paris with 17.73. Big bass of the day was a 6.42-pound largemouth taken by the Seaton/Harris team of Paris.
