Supplementary Information  

Waterfowl Activity: As is typical early in the winter waterfowl season, the greatest number of birds and species were observed in Upper Pool 4 which had 35% of all waterfowl observed.

Hunting Pressure and Success: No hunt in progress.

Weather: Weather for the week was unseasonably warm with daytime highs near 70 and nighttime lows in the 40's.

Habitat: Most geese were observed resting on shorelines or open water. Shallow flooded moist soil habitat in Upper Pool 4 and Elk Reservoir had the largest concentration of ducks - 74% of all ducks recorded were observed in the shallows of these two impoundments.
