   Supplementary Information  

Waterfowl Activity: Highest concentration of ducks was observed in the shallows in Elk Reservoir (47% of total ducks recorded). Highest number of geese were observed in Upper Pool 4, with 1,024 birds recorded.


Hunting Pressure and Success: No hunt in progress.


Weather: Weather started out unseasonably warm with high around 80EF on Monday a front moved through mid week cooler temperatures down and bringing rain. Thursday morning we experienced heavy scattered rains. The front seems to have brought waterfowl with it.


Habitat: Newly shallow flood areas seemed to attracted the largest number of ducks. The majority of geese were seen in harvested soybean fields.

Observation was based on Ground counts.
