Supplementary Information  

 Waterfowl Activity: On this survey 78% of the geese recorded were sighted in Lower & Upper Pool 4.  The large concentration of ducks (63%) were recorded from Pool 7.  Waterfowl distribution is falling back to pattern seen early in the season, with good bird use on the southside and few birds using the north side.

 Hunting Pressure and Success:    No data - waterfowl season closed mid week.

 Weather:   Weather has become unseasonably warm with afternoon highs reaching 70 F on two day and nighttime lows in 40's to 50's.  Windy conditions persisted during beginning and ending of the week.  Thunderstorms and heavy winds move through middle Tennessee on Feb. 9, 2001.

 Habitat: Geese are making good use of winter wheat field in Lower and Upper Pool 4.  Water, cover, and food are a lot ducks in Pool 7.  Mallards are using shallow water in willow - button bush stands for cover and feeding in agriculture jap. millet, moist soil fields.
