   Supplementary Information

Waterfowl Activity: The heaviest duck concentrations were observed in
the Elk Res/Pool 7 area. It appears that last weeks heavy rains has
provided available habitat throughout the refuge as waterfowl were observed
in all but two impoundments.

Hunting Pressure and Success: No Data.

Weather: The weather is shifting back toward seasonal norms with lows
around 30o F's and highs in mid 40o F''s. Precipitation is expected for
three days during mid week. Mostly rain is expected to fall, with snow
possible on the 25th.

Habitat: Elevated water levels in Elk Res. and Pool 7 seems to be
contributing a steady high waterfowl use. It appears that lasts week's
rain has promoted waterfowl in Pool's 8 and 12 since more ducks have been
observed during these past two surveys than is typical.

Census Technique: Census complete X Census was a sample
Percentage of population covered

Observation was based on Aerial counts.
